Is Romance dead or simply invisible ?

So ladies we all seem to think we know what the perfect man is . Im pretty sure we could all sit down and write a list of a million things the perfect man would say or do or what he  would look like ( I know for sure I could) . But how many of those things do you do yourself?
We are so quick to want the perfect man but are we the perfect woman ?

I spent the majourity of last week cursing men (weve all been there and it was not the time of the month so don't even try it all you male readers - that's if theres any out there of course).
As I was saying , I must have sat at work cursing all men saying how romance was dead and men did not know what a romantic day or night was anymore . I thought id do a little investigation so I sent out a message on my blackberry ( fingers crossed I get an iphone for Christmas ay ) to see if I could justify what a 'Romantic night ' actually is and after receiving a message saying ' Dvd , beer , takeaway, drunk sex' I could of literally hung myself ( extreme but true). I then went on to my boyfriend how I wanted an amazingly romantic night out in Manchester with strolls through the flower gardens and walks around the city dressed up all pretty . well you can imagine the face I pulled at my phone when I got a reply saying ' DRESSED IN WHAT?! ITS BLUDDY WINTER SAMMIE I CANT WALK TO THE SHOP WITHOUT FREEZING TO DEATH IN 10000 JUMPERS ' . morified I know . At this stage im definatly wondering if I even belonged in this century . But to my astonishment  I had THE most amazing day ever last sunday .
A lovely lie in - not too long else I get grumpy and cannot seem to shift out of the duvet , train to the city centre , a lovely day Christmas shopping dreaming of what louboutons and Louis Vuitton bag I wanted ( but will never receive unless I hook up with some mega old rich guy - which is by the way never happening YUK) his arms wrapped around my waist with him whispering he loves me in my ear and how beautiful I am ( will never ever get enough of hearing that I promise ).Then for dinner where we discussed all our plans for the future , stroll back to the train station , snuggling into eachother on the back seats of the train ... yes we were that annoying couple conoodling at the back of the train making every one on the train jealous with our high pitch giggles and ticklefights (always one to make people jealous its in my genes - not literally) We then arrived back at his apartment where we wrapped ourselfes as one into the duvet and watched miracle on 34th street .

So girls what im trying to get at is , romance is not infact dead its just became invisible to us because we expect so much from a relationship and our partner that is has became very difficult for us to notice how much romance is really there .Word of advice for you for the day .... Give your man a break  , smile take in the fresh air , open your eyes and I promise the romance is right under your nose . (and if its not call me and il be round to give him a slap ) .
